8 Good Places For A Quick Bite Or Take Away In Bansko
Bansko might not be big enough for dozens of restaurants with delivery and take away. But there ARE restaurants that will do take away in Bansko. I live already for 3,5 years in Bansko, so I have been in quite a lot of places. These restaurants are some of my go to’s in Bansko for a quick bite or if I prefer to eat at home as take away.
Last update & prices in this article are based on May 2025.

Good places for a quick bite or take away in Bansko
1. Station By Tsakiris
My number one place for a quick bite in Bansko is definitely Station. Station is a well known name in town. Not only do they serve food from early in the morning until late at night (almost all year round), but they have something for everyone, even vegans. They have a bit of everything if you think of fast food: wraps, pizzas, fries, burgers, salads and gyros. The portions are decent, the prices are good and the service is fast. I love to sit outside in the summer and it’s nice and cozy inside in the winter.
You can sit down to eat something here, but they also do take away and delivery.
My favourites: crêpe with banana and chocolate for breakfast & a zuccini wrap for dinner. I’m vegetarian, but most of my meat-eating friends also love the gyros plates here.
Address: Pitu Guli 9 (Gondola area)

2. Tasty 75
I think I am low key in love with the fast food of Tasty 75. It’s a small restaurant with a central location on Pirin Street. The owners are friendly, the vibes inside are good and the food is exactly like the name: tasty. The prices are also great: pizza’s, burgers and burritos for 10 to 16 leva (€5-8). There are short periods that this place is closed, but it’s basically open all year round.
You can sit inside and outside, but it’s also possible to order your food and combine it with a drink across the street at Pirin 75. You can take away the food, but they also do deliveries for bigger orders (we have done it a bunch of times with our board games crew).
My favourites: the chili burrito is my absolute favourite pick, and if I order a veggie burger I love to swap regular fries for the sweet potato fries.
Address: Pirin Street 90 (Gondola-Central area)

3. Le Petit Crêperie
Unfortunately this place is only open in winter, but it’s my favourite place to go for a delicious pancake. I’m from a land that’s obsessed with pancakes (we even have special pancake only restaurants where you can eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner!), so I believe I can call myself an expert. And I have tried a lot of pancakes in Bansko, but the ones from Le Petit Crêperie are simply the best. Loads of options, both sweet and savory. The owner makes his own chocolate paste – which is way better than Nutella!
Unfortunately it’s not possible to sit inside. There are a few bar chairs outside, but most people come here for take away and a nice chat. Take away is possible, but they don’t do deliveries.
My favourites: I go (again) for the crêpe with banana and home made chocolate
Address: Nayden Gerov Street 15 (Gondola area)
4. The House
The House is one of my favourite places for a quick bite or take away in Bansko. I like to sit down here and take my time, but they are also very fast with take away orders – which is great if you’re in a hurry and/or hungry. They also have some daily options; that menu is shared every day on the Facebook page or you can of course ask for it in the restaurant.
The House is also a great place to sit with a big group, because they have the space (inside in winter and outside in summer), they have lots of options for everyone and the staff is capable of serving well during busy moments. The House is one of the places that is open all year round in Bansko.
Besides take away it’s also possible to call them and have it delivered. I believe this is an option for bigger groups (I have never ordered just for myself for delivery). If you’re part of some of the coworkings (Altspace or Coworking Bansko) you even get some discount in The House if you mention it before you order!
My favourites: the House Salad is one of my favourite salads in town, also the black rice with vegetables is nice for vegetarians
Address: Peyo K Yavorov Street 41 (Gondola area)
5. Focaccia
Focaccia opened in november 2024, so it’s a new place in town. If you’re a fan of the Italian cuisine (especially meat and cheese) and good sandwiches this is your place. They use amazing cheeses like caciotta (with truffle), burrata and parmigiano and the quality of the products is great. Also only good words for the fresh focaccia bread. I’m vegetarian, but multiple people also vouched for the meat sandwiches. The owner is very nice and although there are no vegan options on the menu yet, they can make a vegan variation.
The prices for the sandwiches might look a bit high for sandwiches (16-18 leva / €8-9), but the sandwiches are huge (450 grams). It’s definitely filling for 1 person or you could even split it between 2 people.
There are a few places to sit inside, but most people have their sandwiches for take away.
My favourites: I am a big fan of all the cheeses here, so I just let them surprise me with a custom made sandwich haha. Normally I don´t really like mayonaise on my sandwiches, but the dijon mayonaise is very tasty.
Address: Pirin Street 93 (Gondola Area)

6. Victoria Bansko
Victoria has multiple restaurants in Bulgaria, and one of them luckily is in Bansko. There is a cosy atmosphere and the food is almost always nice. The portions are good and the prices are decent. They have options for everyone, so it’s a good option if you have a diverse group for lunch or dinner. They have a lot of standard dishes all year round, but they also work with seasonal menus (like strawberries in spring, pumpkin dishes in autumn). Another big plus is that it’s one of the only places in town that makes sushi as well.
They have inside and outside tables, and although there is plenty of space it’s usually good to make a reservation if you come with multiple people. It’s always busy here with both tourists and locals; which is usually a good sign, right? It’s possible to pick up food for take away and it should be possible to have it delivered as well (you can call or order via their website), but I don’t have any experience with this yet.
My favourites: their pizzas are decent, but I also love some of the starters and combine them as a bigger meal, like the avocado caprese salad, the goat cheese balls and the Brazilian croquettes.
Address: Pirin Street 119 (Gondola area)
7. Damyanitza
When I’m in the Old Town area this is usually my go to place for some lunch. The portions are big and the prices are very good. Some dishes seem to be a hit or miss, but any vegetarian meals I have had were always nice. They have lots of Bulgarian dishes, but also the international things like pasta. Besides the normal menu they also have a special daily menu with some nice options.
You can sit inside and outside (in summer it’s so nice to sit outside since the place is in the sun most of the day). They don’t do deliveries, but it is possible to order food and pick it up as take away. They are open all year round as well.
My favourites: I usually choose the soups, a nice salad (like the quinoa salad or shopska salad) or some french toast here for brunch/lunch.
Address: 5-ti Oktomvri Street 9-5 (Old town area)

8. Le Petit Nicolas
And if you’re searching for nice paninis in the Old Town area I would recommend Le Petit Nicholas. I really love Nicky’s food. Besides toasted sandwiches he also makes great cakes and croissants, so it’s definitely a place to treat yourself to something nice. They have a bunch of options, including vegetarian and vegan. Sandwiches are 13-14 leva (€6,5-7), but you can also choose a breakfast plate with croissants or banitza for example.
There are a few places to sit inside, but most people pick up the food for take away. Unfortunately the opening hours are a bit inconsistent, so you don’t know 100% for sure if it’s open or not. But if you’re nearby I would definitely check it out when you’re hungry.
My favourites: Le Provincial sandwich with goat cheese, but a good croissant is always welcome as well from this place
Address: Pirin Street 19A (Old town-Central area)
